Niedawno minęło 40 lat od wydania debiutanckiego albumu brytyjskiej grupy Spandau Ballet. Od Nowej Fali poprzez New Romantics, aż do klasycznego angielskiego popu – kariera zespołu rozwijała się szybko i z sukcesami. Trzon zespołu stanowili bracia Gary i Martin Kemp oraz obdarzony mocnym soulowym głosem Tony Hadley. Grupa wylansowała wiele udanych przebojów, z „True” i „Gold” na czele.
