TOP 60 CURE

Dziś powinienem rozentuzjazmowany wracać do Płocka z kolejnej (dla mnie ósmej) edycji Open’er Festival, pozostając pod wrażeniem i urokiem najważniejszego dla mnie tegorocznego koncertu – występu legendarnej grupy The Cure. Covid zniweczył wszelkie koncertowe plany, ale, jak śpiewał Lenny Kravitz, it ain’t over till it’s over, więc może jeszcze kiedyś dane mi będzie zobaczyć Roberta Smitha i jego załogę. Przygotowanie mojego subiektywnego zestawienia ulubionych nagrań The Cure jeszcze bardziej uświadomiło mi, jaki to wybitny zespół – szczyt alternatywnej elity lat 80-tych i 90-tych. Zespół poznałem stosunkowo późno, bo dopiero po wydaniu płyty Kiss me, Kiss me, Kiss me, ale szybko nadrobiłem zaległości i unikatowe brzmienie zespołu pozostaje ze mną do dziś. Bardzo szkoda, że fani nie mogli zobaczyć Cure’ów w Gdyni. Niech to zestawienie będzie małą rekompensatą za odwołanie koncetu. Enjoy!
